With all the drama related to a mid-afternoon soap opera, Gizmodo has acquired what looks like a pre-release version of this Summer’s iPhone. Many are questioning the approach and editorial liberties that were taken by Gizmodo in not only taking the device apart, but also naming the individual publicly that lost the device.

The real question that remains is what impact will this have on the buying decisions of the public over the next 2-3 months. Will users be waiting to upgrade until this device hits the market?
